Colin Calderwood! Are you listening…?

Who the heck is Colin Calderwood, Adam?”

He is the manager and first team coach of Nottingham Forest football club… My beloved Nottingham Forest football club. I was hoping that he was listening to me, or rather; reading my written word today.

We have won one measly game in the last 9 and are at the foot of the championship table… A far cry from the talks of promotion that was being touted at the beginning of the season. Has Colin Calderwood not seen what is going on at Swindon Town? Want to know what they are doing? As if you could not guess…

Maurice Malpas, ex-Scotland international player and now Swindon Town football club’s manager, Made a bold move recently in attempt to turn things around for his team, who have been mirroring Forest’s fortunes, except in a lower league. They had lost their previous five matches in a row. In an attempt to move them up the League One table, he really has gone for it…

Yes indeed, the man has brought in a sports hypnotherapist to improve Swindons form, and get them winning again. I love it!

The sports hypnotherapist held sessions with the players who were given both group and individual hypnotherapy sessions.

They have also decided to interupt previous patterns… So, to stop the old routine, which was obviously a rut of sorts, Malpas also changed their usual pre-match dressing room music to try and stop the poor run. When I frst read this, I thought it was a good idea… Then I read a quote from midfield player Michael Timlin who said: “We have ditched the R&B for some music from the 70s and 80s like Billy Ocean and Spandau Ballet.”

Hahahahaha… Spandau Ballet and Billy Ocean in a football team dressing room! Hahahaha… If anything was going to help them slide further, I’d have suspected that lethal combination would… Ahem, on with the serious note to todays blog entry…

Well, congratulations are in order… Swindon finally got themselves a 2-1 home victory against Northampton; good for them and well done hypnotherapy!

I have written about it often on this blog… Hypnotherapy used within sports is something many athletes and teams have used with great success… Not only to help motivate and inspire… But also to add competency, skill and belief… To add so much more on many levels that exist…

Delighted to hear this… So Colin Calderwood, give me a call… You are the only corporate client I’ll take on for free…
