Ok, so the nation awaits… The celebrities are finally getting announced… This SUnday, they will be dropped from a helicopter into the jungle with all its bugs, terrain, creatures and conditions… Yes indeed, ‘I’m a celebrity, get me outta here!’ starts this weekend…

The reason I am mentioning this? Let me tell you…

I got notified that former primetime TV presenter Esther Rantzen is going to be one of those taking place and in her inal interview before the big drop, here is what she had to say:

“The thing about being at my stage of life is that when opportunities come your way to do something new and different and dangerous, I do think you should grab them.  Life is for living. And I would not be able to live with myself if I turned down this challenge.

“There are very few people in the world that I dislike; I don’t want Hitler in there. I don’t know if ITV recruits serial killers, but I wouldn’t want a violent criminal sharing the jungle with me.  But apart from that, I think it’ll be fun meeting people, even peculiar people.  In fact peculiar people are usually even more interesting.

“Heights, snakes, spiders, cold water, I loathe them all, at home I hate fair ground rides…I can’t go on roller-coasters, they frighten me witless.  So if that sort of ordeal faces me, then I might have to try a little self-hypnosis.

Wa-hey! Self-hypnosis in the jungle! Great! She must have been reading my book and has a poweerful technique ready and equipped for any daunting challenges coming her way…

(For those of you that know me… I am not going to pick up her use of the wrod try… I know, she must not try self-hypnosis… Just do it Esther!)

I would have recommended of course that she have full-on hypnotherapy prior to going in the jungle if she has/had any fears… Much wiser… However, being well equipped with self-hypnosis planted in your holster is a fabulous way to deal with any challeneges and of course to helpo enhance her experience in general.

Or do you thinkI am taking Esther Rantzen too literally?

Lets wait and find out, eh?
