My day is packed with hypnotherapy clients today… As the world around me seems to protest further about how bleak things are… I am busier than ever… In these times, there seems to be a proliferate number of people on various social media networks that want to show everyone else how to have a millionaire mindset…

Yet almost none of these people are actually millionaires.

It is like those hundreds of internet marketers who gather online wanting to show you how to use Social media for the best business effect, yet seem incapable of establishing quality online relationships with their market… Or they want to show you how to have a website that churns out money… Yet do not have one with anything profitable or decent about it… I just don’t get it…

But I am digressing today… Ahem…

I mentioned being busy, so cannot go in to much depth with my blog today… In some corners of the globe, April is poetry month and I have been reading a lot of new poetry… I blogged some time ago about the number one voted for piece of poetry in the UK — ‘If’ by Rudyard Kipling, which I do love… Poetry is so utterly hypnotic, it absolutely sends you off into a trance… And the subtle messages can often be therapeutic, I have found certain poems to be like hypnotherapy when engaged in and embraced, so I wanted to share a poem today, one that I absolutely adore, that I think is fabulously hypnotic, hypnosis inducing and also therapeutic…

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry i could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stodd
And looked down as far as i could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I –
i took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I love that… I love the meaning it has to me and for me… Which i am not going to share today because I’d love you to have your own interpretation… Hypnotic, eh? Hypnosis inducing as it takes you on a story and has you thinking inwardly… Parallels many thoughts that we all have… And is inspiring in several ways… That is hypnotherapy of a different kind…

Ok, I shall stop with my self-indulgence and get on with my mega busy day…
