Find the aspects of the disputed thing where your opinions overlap. When you find some agreement it lets off a little of the steam and also allows a little rapport to grow. Sometimes it is the end result that is common. For example, when arguing about government leaders, opposing views may be vastly different, but in the end, both people want a prosperous happy country.]]></description>
