There’s something magical about flying!
When I was younger, I used to hang-glide and fondly remember giggling, on the rare occasions that the British weather allowed me to “jump” off a hill and climb into the sky. It was both mentally and physically uplifting, though landing was often a bit hit and miss.

We last saw the Red Arrows when they were doing a display over Morrisons in Farnborough. There were loads of people camped out, enjoying picnics. The whole event had a real sense of community with top quality ariel entertainment. People were actually talking to each other, strangers! Which is so rare in the south east.

There was something on at the airport, but Morrisons car park was free and we had a great time!

Flight is a testament to the resolve of the Human race along with the power of thinking and dreaming outside of the box. I like to think of it as one of the many turning points in history the denotes our species letting go of the limiting decisions the have previously stifled our expansive and seemingly endless capabilities.
