Are hypnotherapists capable of seeing all sides of their own field? What actually is hypnosis? Why do so many people define hypnosis so differently? Is there such a thing as the subconscious mind? What is the relationship between mesmerism and hypnosis? Are there dangers using regression in hypnosis? Can hypnosis enhance the chances of false memory syndrome? Why is there so much paranormal faff related to hypnosis? Why do some people call it trance? Can it actually make people do things they don’t want to? Are indirect hypnotic language patterns actually any better than direct? Is it good to use scripts with hypnosis?

These questions and more are examined and explored with the Evidence Based Hypnosis Podcast, dedicated to thinking critically and casting a sceptical eye over the subject of hypnosis and hypnotherapy. With this podcast I am attempting to examine the evidence, cast out quackery and have as much fun as possible throughout! Those of you that fancy a rip roaring ride into the world of no-nonsense hypnosis exploration, climb on board and hold on tight.

We have just submitted to iTunes, so it won’t be showing up there for a couple of days by regular searching for it. However, if I give you the feed today, you can listen to the first two editions on iTunes or any other podcast software that you use.

To do that, open iTunes, then go to the Advanced menu and Subscribe to Podcast. Then in the box that pops up, enter this address:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/AdamEasonEvidenceBasedHypnosisPodcast

That is the feed address for the all new, all singing podcast. It is very different to my previous podcast which still has lots of listeners despite me not adding to it in over 18 months.

So get tuned in and do let me have any questions that you may have regarding any of the epidsodes and I’ll be running episodes just answering queries.

Likewise, if you have topics you want covered or explored, as long as they are in some way related to hypnosis and hypnotherapy, then get in touch and I’ll look at what I can do. I am really excited about getting back into the podcasting and look forward to speaking to you there.
