Combining The Elman And Yapko Classic Hypnosis Inductions

Well today I am adding another video clip — more for the hypnotists that read my blog… Sorry folks… The rest of you will get more of interest the remainder of this week, I promise…
So I have combined the Elman classic induction with Michael Yapko’s mind’s eye technique… like the Elman method and never ued the second part of his induction with willing the numbers away…
Both methods seem to sit well together for me… Now both are also supposed to be rapid, probably more rapid than I am doing it here… This was demonstration or a hypnotherapy training diploma, so I needed to show, and demonstrate, not just zap them as fast as possible… Even my wife was watching it saying, “Hurry up already…”
Enjoy!

That’s a great video. Thanks.
But can you clarify what part is the Yapko induction? Is it simply the stuff about imagining the minds eye closing?

Yep. That’s it Graham. It is just the bit after the eye closure.

Thanks, Adam.
Is there any one of Yapko’s books that you’d recommend I get?

Graham, if you want to learn hypnosis and hypnotherapy, then the one to read is ‘Trancework’ – It is a complete works on the subject.
