I love earing about conventional medicine integrating hypnosis and finding some real use for it… I love hearing of it being an application in incredibly serious health issus and helped individuals to overcome such.

I have been having a very in-depth discussion this morning with my online business partner Keith… Over the weekend, one of our online customers asked for a refund… When we asked for the reason behind the refund request, we got told (and I quote):
“I did not realise it was all about hypnosis.”
Keith and I joked about the number of times I must have written the word hypnosis in the last few years, how many times it is on our website, and whether I am just not making it clear enough that I am a hypnotherapist and hypnotist…
Hmmm… I really need to rethink my outgoing message and current presence I think… ;-) I mean, the meaning of every communication is supposed to be the response it receives…

Let me indulge in a moment or two of retrospection from my school days…
When I was 10 years old, I used to play the cello. I used to cry sometimes when I had to practice and it frustrated my Mum. I did have to carry it around from home to school and school to home which did not lend tiself that well to playing football with my friends… I was quite good and so started having lessons with a couple of other students my age.
Despite being in an indie-rock-stage-diving-college band, I was not really the musical type, the band was something where I got to show off and be pretentious… I took my cello lessons for a couple of years and even was allowed to go to a secondary school out of my local area because my music teacher taught there… Now why am I running through all this nostalgia? I have been to many hypnosis, hypnotherapy, NLP and personal development conferences in my time… I like to think of myself s a geek of my subject and to rub shoulders with other such-likes at these events is something I find enjoyable.
However, never have I heard of any such hypnosis conference being a ‘big thing’ for cities to bid on and convince the body hat their city is worthy of hosting… I mean, this is like the Olympics or he football world cup… Could there be such an event in my professional sphere that I have never heard of in all these years?
