Happy Independence Day to everyone in and outside of the US celebrating it today!

Independence. What a wonderful word and beautiful feeling. In 1776, the colonies
declared their independence from the British Empire.

In the film Independence Day (1996) the entire world united to fight
off a common enemy-invading aliens. Perhaps a common enemy like that is needed to truly unite this planet?
