Adam,

During the past 5 years I have attended a number of Carmine Seminars. Judy touched on what I personally witnessed. His work from stage and written materials were exceptional.

Yet so was the brilliance of Verbal Kint (Kevin Spacey) in Usual Suspects.

His con is now evident to those who have come to know him as a Life Coach and Hypnotist. Carmine set out to discredit the institutions that we hold dear - families, law enforcement, religion, and the education system to name a few. "These", he claimed "are the source of limiting beliefs." He even dismissed his Ph.D. as worthless compared to all the freedom and pleasure that he experiences having abandoned rules.

Now imagine, you are in a trusting relationship with your life coach who has now introduced you to a more resourceful way of life. Do you trust him enough to follow his lead? Do you abandon your limiting beliefs in order to embrace a broader, more accepting, less judgmental model of the world? To hell with credentials! This belongs to your former way of thinking. If you agree that your new teaches are why you are now more resourceful, more brilliant, and more successful, why hold back? All the much more forceful when the anchors are set and manipulated as he saw fit.

Credit to the brave women who called him out. They eventually saw him for who he is. A Con. Carmine's junk philosophy, mail order Ph.D., and continued deception are now evidence of the most limiting of all belief systems.

I find the story all the more chilling since my impression from the online world was that Carmine Baffa was quite a well-known NLP trainer, and therefore presumably has all the credentials and references he needs.
